Theatre Nurse

Requirements:

• Right to work in Scotland (Sponsorship NOT provided).
• PVG check through Clinical 24 (one will be applied for upon application).
• Active NMC pin.
• Proof of Mandatory Training (If none, free training will be provided as part of the compliance process).
• 2 x References covering a minimum of 3 years.
• A minimum of 6 months' experience of being a Registered Nurse in Theatre settings.
• Driving license will be beneficial.

Your duties can include but are not limited to:

• Supporting patients through the preoperative phase of an operation
• Assisting in and carrying out assessments
• Assisting anaesthesiologists to prepare drugs and equipment
• Preparing and supplying tools and equipment throughout surgery
• Acting as a link between the surgery room and the rest of the hospital
• Monitoring the wellbeing of the patient before, during, and after a procedure
• Offering further care and support to patients and their families
